Instructions
In a large bowl, mix garlic powder, five spice powder, brown sugar, oyster sauce, soya sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and white pepper until well combined.
Add 1 kg of chicken wings to the bowl and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for deeper flavour.
Turn the Power to the highest setting and set the Time to 20 minutes (you don’t have to grill continuously, but remember to monitor the process). Allow the grill to preheat empty for 5 minutes. Lightly oil the grill plate if needed.
Place the wings skin-side down on the grill and cook for 8 - 10 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through and nicely caramelized.
Serve hot directly from the grill, or transfer to a plate. Garnish with spring onions, sesame seeds, or a squeeze of lime, if desired.
