Salmon & Lemon Butter

Required Equipment: SBG-KC-B1 / SBG-TC-B1  / PyroGlow (Touch)

Grilling Accessories Required: SBG-FRYING PAN 

Ingredients: 

  • 400g salmon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 20g of butter
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1tbsp of grated lemon zest
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Directions: 

  1. Season salmon on both sides with sea salt & black pepper, add 1 tsp of grated lemon zest and squeeze 1 lemon (adjust to taste)
  2. Preheat the grill to 280°C for 3-5 minutes and drop your butter into the frying pan. Keep swirling and stirring to prevent splatter until it starts to turn light brown and the bits of butter solids turn brown (about 2-7 minutes depending on your heat)
  3. Then, place your seasoned salmon onto the frying pan and cook the first side for around 5-7 minutes until golden brown then flip the salmon and cook another 2-34 minutes or until flaky and fully cooked through with an internal temperature of 62°C
  4. In the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, add 1 tsp lemon zest and the lemon juice into the frying pan.
  5. Lastly, transfer the salmon to a plate and sprinkle the cooked salmon with freshly chopped parsley and more black pepper to taste.
